Sravana is Carl Golembeski's sound practice on the move. A studio with no fixed address, evolving with each tour and each thing gathered along the way. Live vocal FX, releases, and collaborations made as creativity in service of the art.
Listening in the in-between, made practical: the art form ahead of the deadline, the budget, the marketing. The contemplative practice that grew from it now lives in the Akroatic Foundation.

Who is listening.
Sravana isn't a fixed place. It's the practice Carl carries with him, a studio that evolves as he travels and gathers gear. The vocal FX, the releases, the creativity-as-service collaborations all run under it. This is the pre-foundation work, built to be transmissible: a vessel for the work, not a container for a personality.
Carl Golembeski
Founder. Sound artist, live vocal-FX engineer, and music producer. A polymath and sound forager whose work integrates technology and improvisation with the voices of the more-than-human world. Twenty-plus years in arena and stadium production; deep work in Kyma, modular synthesis, and spatial audio.

The contemplative practice this studio work pointed toward, harmonic theory, inner listening, sonic art, now stands on its own as the Akroatic Foundation. Meant to be passed on, and to outlive any one person. Mesh, not hub.
